About the Brand

Cro-Che is a forward thinking women’s label, based in London which started with the process and the people before designing the garments.

Founder Tacita Brown, believed a fashion brand should begin with how the clothes are made, and the people who make them before anything else is considered. Frustrated with the amount of waste in the fashion industry, Tacita began researching ways to create garments in the most sustainable way.

For Tacita, crochet is one of the most planet positive ways of producing garments. Why? Because there is zero to very little waste. You can create something beautiful only using the material you need.

Cro-Che produces clothes which are hand made by extraordinarily talented female artisans in developing countries across the globe. It was important for Tacita that these skilled artisans did not have to leave their homes or their families and children to travel sometimes hundreds of miles to find work in factories based in the cities. Cro-Che aims to empower the incredibly skilled women by employing them to work from home.

This is conscious fashion. This is slow fashion. This is the future of fashion.
